Hunting Information:

Alligators are large, carnivorous reptiles primarily found in freshwater environments like swamps, rivers, and lakes in the southeastern United States, particularly Florida and Louisiana. The American Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis) has a broad, rounded snout, powerful tail, and armored body with tough, scaly skin. Adult males can grow up to 15 feet long and weigh over 1,000 pounds, while females are generally smaller. Alligators are apex predators that feed on fish, birds, mammals, and occasionally carrion. Known for their stealth and strength, they play a vital role in maintaining the balance of their ecosystem.
